TÜBİTAKBİLGEM National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology (UEKAE) participated in the 1st Health Technologies Workshop organized by ASELSAN at Middle East Technical University on 9 December of 2015.
Yıldız Uludağ, PhD, from BİLGEM Computational Biology and Security Applications Department, participated in the event, delivering her speech “BİLGEM Technologies in Health and Biodefense”. She detailed on biosensor devices developed by BİLGEM Bioelectronic Devices and System Development Group.
The workshop mainly aimed to increase collaborations of ASELSAN in health technologies as well. In this direction, it provided the common ground for scientists developing new technologies and ASELSAN staff who could turn these technologies into products. The workshop proceeded with the following sessions: Medical imaging technologies, health information technologies, biosensors and rehabilitation systems.
