6th Defense Industry Days 2015

TÜBİTAK BİLGEM participated in the 6th Industry Days 2015 which was held by Yıldız Technical University (YTÜ) at YTÜ Davutpaşa Campus between 18-19 November of 2015. It was organized with the joint contributions of the Turkish Undersecretariat for Defense Industries, YTÜ Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and YTÜ Machine Technologies Club.

Many public and private institutions, academicians operating in defense industry participated in the event. Students also showed huge interest to the program. During the event, students joined panels and seminars that focused on defense industry in Turkey. Thus, they had the chance of gaining deep insight into remarkable R&D activities in defense industry of Turkey and the industry devices that have been developed with national sources.

TÜBİTAK BİLGEM made presentations in the event as well. Assoc. Prof. Fatih Üstüner, Director of BİLGEM National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology (UEKAE) made a presentation on electronic communication and the related researches conducted by BİLGEM. Another presentation was delivered by Alper Ay, the Director of Business Development Unit at BİLGEM. He focused on BİLGEM’s operational fields and the researches conducted by BİLGEM in defense industry.
